Our Process
Our ultimate goal at JaeBird Design is to help you realize an elegant outdoor space for both everyday moments as well as special occasions. We source and arrange outdoor furniture and decor that is curated, comfortable, and durable, to create a backdrop for a life well-lived, outdoors.
Before you’re a client

In this complimentary 20 minute phone call, we’ll discuss your project goals, timeline, and budget. We’ll share our process to determine if we’re a good fit and answer any questions about working together.

During this two-hour, in-home consultation we’ll walk through your space, take notes, and gather information we need to prepare a proposal for your project. A non-refundable consultation fee of $500 will be applied to your project If we decide to move forward.

After the consultation we will prepare a detailed proposal to outline the scope of work, suggested project budget, and estimated timeline. Once approved, you’ll receive a contract and invoice to officially confirm your spot on our design calendar.
Once you’re a client

Prior to the start of this meeting you will receive a detailed questionnaire to help determine your design preferences, lifestyle, and goals. During the 90 minute, in-house meeting we’ll discuss the questionnaire, take photos, measurements, catalog your existing furniture (if applicable) and get to know you and your family.

With a full understanding of your lifestyle, design aesthetics and goals, we’ll prepare an initial Design Concept and preliminary project pricing for discussion. This is where we make sure we are on the same page before diving into final design details.

Hold on to your hat as we present our customized design selections including materials, fabrics, finishes and colors. Depending on the scope of work, this phase may take 2-4 weeks to prepare.

We’ll take it from here as we place orders, manage delivery and schedule installation. And don’t worry, we’ll stay in touch regularly so you know exactly where we are in the process.

Witness the transformation as our White Glove team turns your space into a magazine-worthy destination, ready to host you and yours int the great outdoors.

We’ll review the completed work, reconcile deficiencies and follow up to ensure all outstanding items are completed, presenting you with a binder of warranty, care and maintenance information.
